1978 MSA Wiffle Ball

Not to be confused with the 77 issue this one came in 2 formats 5 players to a wiffle ball box 3 on the outside and 2 on the inside.  Plus some were 2 on the cardboard packaging for the bats those are generally come with 2 folds on them.

The balls were issued in Regular, Softball and Junior size one could surmise that less popular sizes of products might lead to some lesser quantities of certain cards. That's why it is important to understand how these cards were distributed.  As of now 12 cards are unknown how distributed most likely 2 boxes and 1 bat still exist.

Here is a 77 vs 78 just to tell them apart the backs are different.

Here is the current checklist

1991 Pocket Pages

Wanted to highlight this uncatalogued set.  It was produced in 3 card strips with 2 in each magazine from Oct 91-Dec.  The pocket page magazine ran with cards from 91-94 with 3 distinct styles the 91 version, 92-93 version and 93-94.  The magazine itself was about the CA collector shows so it wasn't distributed to a wide audience.  The checklist below is incomplete so if anyone can fill the holes please let me know will highlight the other years in the future.

1979 KYW Philadelphia Phillies Book Covers

Going to break away from the Reds and highlight the SGA (Stadium Giveaway) of the Phillies issued to fans attending the Aug 20-22 games.  They are large book covers 18 1/2 x 13 for the younger crowd not sure if still done in schools but they were meant to cover school books to protect them rather big deal in the 70s and 80s.  They all were issued with 1 fold on the spine due to their size to make them easier to hand out.  Two players are on each cover along with a facsimile autograph.
